Good questions / clear answers

A little more clarity. Before you begin.

Practical answers to the questions that often come before a construction or interiors conversation. Your project-specific written scope remains the source of agreed commitments.

Getting started

Where does BLOC take enquiries?

Our starting market is Gurugram and Delhi NCR. Share the project location, site type and scope so we can confirm feasibility and availability. Site visits are arranged by appointment.

What should I bring to the first conversation?

A location, a rough scope, any drawings or photographs you have, and your expected timeframe are a useful start. For interiors, room dimensions and an idea of the furniture or appliances you want to retain help make the discussion more specific.

Can I start with just one room?

Yes, you can enquire about a kitchen, wardrobe, bedroom or another defined space. The scope, minimum practical work package and availability are confirmed after reviewing your brief.

Scope & cost

How much will my project cost?

Cost depends on measured quantities, site condition, material and hardware choices, service alterations, access and the agreed deliverables. BLOC does not currently publish approved fixed prices. A written quotation should make inclusions, exclusions and applicable taxes clear.

Is the project planner a price calculator?

The planner prepares a scope brief: project type, spaces, priorities, your own budget preference and timeframe. It does not calculate a quotation or predict a selling price. You can review the brief before choosing to send an enquiry.

What is included in an interior package?

Essential, Signature and Bespoke are proposed scope directions. Cabinetry, furniture, ceiling work, lighting, appliances, civil changes and loose décor are included only where specifically stated in your written scope. Ask for a quantity and material schedule before comparing proposals.

How are changes handled after work begins?

The working approach is to record the change, its effect on price or programme, and the required approval before additional work proceeds. Your agreement should set out how variations are documented and authorised.

Execution

How long does a construction or interior project take?

There is no universal timeline. A programme depends on scope, approvals, site readiness, design decisions, procurement, specialist work and access. The practical sequence and dependencies should be agreed for your particular project.

Can you work in an occupied home?

Occupied-home renovation needs a specific discussion about protection, working hours, dust, service shutdowns and temporary arrangements. Feasibility and phasing are confirmed after reviewing the site and the work required.

Do structural changes need professional review?

Changes that may affect structure require assessment by appropriately qualified professionals and any relevant permissions. A visual concept or online 3D scene is not a structural design or approval.

Quality & handover

What quality checks and handover information are included?

Relevant checkpoints should be agreed in the scope. Examples include material identification, dimensions, services coordination, finish reviews and a recorded snag list. Handover documents, product information and responsibilities depend on the actual work package.

Is there a standard warranty or maintenance plan?

Any workmanship commitment, supplier warranty, exclusion, reporting process and period must be confirmed in the written agreement and relevant product documents. BLOC does not currently advertise a universal warranty term or a live maintenance booking service.

Design & evidence

Are the 3D rooms and images completed BLOC projects?

The interactive scenes and generated images are original design concepts. They help explain scale, materials and the service journey. They are labelled separately from portfolio evidence. Completed project stories will be published only with confirmed details, imagery and permission.

Can I use these concepts as construction drawings?

No. A concept needs measured site information, technical coordination, qualified professional review and relevant permissions before it can guide construction. The website does not provide construction-ready drawings.

Is the AI design platform available now?

The independent AI-assisted design platform is in development. You can register interest through the contact page. Access and a launch date are not promised.
