Living rooms / A considered starting point

Made for
your everyday.

A room for slow mornings, everyday conversations and the people you welcome in. Start with how the room works, then give it a character of its own.

01

A layout that connects

Balance seating, conversation, television viewing and the routes through the room. The right arrangement depends on your actual dimensions.

02

Storage with a purpose

Plan media, books and everyday storage around the objects you need to keep, with access for sockets and equipment.

03

Light in layers

Combine daylight, ambient light and focused reading light. Curtains and fabric help set the mood and soften the space.

Prepare your room brief

The right questions.
A clearer room.

  • How many people use the room every day?
  • Which existing pieces would you like to retain?
  • Does the room also need dining or work space?

All questions & answers
How much will my project cost?

Cost depends on measured quantities, site condition, material and hardware choices, service alterations, access and the agreed deliverables. BLOC does not currently publish approved fixed prices. A written quotation should make inclusions, exclusions and applicable taxes clear.

Is the project planner a price calculator?

The planner prepares a scope brief: project type, spaces, priorities, your own budget preference and timeframe. It does not calculate a quotation or predict a selling price. You can review the brief before choosing to send an enquiry.

What is included in an interior package?

Essential, Signature and Bespoke are proposed scope directions. Cabinetry, furniture, ceiling work, lighting, appliances, civil changes and loose décor are included only where specifically stated in your written scope. Ask for a quantity and material schedule before comparing proposals.

How are changes handled after work begins?

The working approach is to record the change, its effect on price or programme, and the required approval before additional work proceeds. Your agreement should set out how variations are documented and authorised.
